As a tournament bass angler, I'm constantly looking for an edge. The Layfishing Knobs S20 provided one I didn't even know I needed. The reduced handle wobble and the ultra-smooth retrieve thanks to the high-quality bearings mean I can fish harder for longer without my forearm cramping up. They provide excellent leverage for winching fish out of heavy cover. They look great and feel incredibly durable. This is a no-brainer upgrade for any serious bass angler's setup.
The performance of the Layfishing Knobs S20 is excellent. The grip is secure and the bearing system makes cranking noticeably smoother. However, I'm giving four stars because the compatibility list wasn't 100% clear. They fit perfectly on my main reel, but were a bit fiddly to install on an older model I own. Once on, they worked great, but just double-check that they are a direct fit for your specific reel before purchasing. The quality itself is top-notch.
I've been using the Layfishing Knobs S20 for a few months now across several of my reels, and I am thoroughly impressed. The installation was straightforward C they pop right on and lock into place with a satisfying click. The immediate difference in grip and control is phenomenal.
